I love this idea.
This really is an awesome idea, and super easy! Maybe my roommate and I will have to try making something like this.
Congrats to Jake and Lauren! What an amazing wedding for a fantastic couple! (Taken with Instagram at Fender’s Farm)
So now that it’s finally gardening season where I live, I can post original photos of my garden and what I’m up to in the backyard.
This photo is of the markers that I’m DIY’ing. They’ve got be the most environmentally-conscious plant markers out there because I simply just hunted for them in the wasteland leftover after winter.
The twigs must have fallen sometime in the fall and dried out when all the snow melted up. All I did was get my Swiss Army Knife and shave off a little strip of bark near the top of the twig. Then, with a Sharpie, I wrote down the name of the plant I’m going to grow.
The rocks and piece of bark are simply just things I found in the soil when I was digging. I just used a Sharpie Paint Pen for the green ink.
Didn’t spend any money at all. No environmental impact was made. And it makes for a really cute, cottage-garden feel.

It’s really creepy when all 5 of them are in the same room… (Taken with Instagram at Bet’s and Mon’s Cathaus)
